Chelsea Reynolds

Hello,

a bit about me:

My name is Chelsea Reynolds and I am from Woodruff, SC. I am currently a junior at Clemson University, where I am earning my Bachelor of Science in Health Science with a concentration in Pre-Professional Health Studies and a minor in Psychology. I decided to attend Clemson University with the hopes to mature academically and prepare to go to medical school after graduation. I am preparing to go into medicine in order to become an Internal-Medicine Pediatrician  and work in a rural area that doesn’t have access to quality healthcare.

I have wanted to become a physician ever since I was a young girl. Both my parents work in the healthcare field, so I have been exposed to a love of health care since a young age. My career at Clemson has been spent gaining experience in the medical field and learning about different aspects of the medical field. Some of my experiences include volunteering at Rosa Clark Medical Clinic, volunteering/ shadowing at the Greenville Health System, as well as working in medical records at the Neurology Centers of the Carolinas. In these positions, I have learned valuable lessons in the management of health care services in private, public and free medical practices.
